I have created a useful ‘note to self’ when I am going through stress. I remind myself that “ soon I will be in a tropical place”, “ keep going, I will have a break just two weeks left”…
Being able to visualise a place of escape is fulfilling and in many ways reassurance that you will be able to get through this tense time. It is important to keep looking ahead. Pressing on, meditate on the hope that stressors will pass.
Plan to take an adventure, we limit ourselves when we feel restricted, or constantly feeling trapped within four walls… This could be overwhelming at times. So, remember that there is always a door we can open to experience fresh air and insight.
Why not take a trip into the open, start researching where to go, get some suggestions and ideas from different sources. Personally, I love to watch holiday vlogs on YouTube, this inspires me. It is also useful to see what places match my ideal holiday. You will find that it puts an amount of spark and hope that you will be there soon.
So start planning, believing and hoping that one day soon you will be on a new adventure.
